Recently, the 3,000-ton integrated geophysical and geological survey vessel independently developed by Fujian Fuchuan Marine Engineering Technology Research Institute commenced construction.

Classed by CCS, the vessel has an overall length of 81.5 meters, a beam of 15.2 meters, a depth of 6.8 meters, and a design draft of 4.5 meters. With a full load displacement of approximately 3,600 tons, it boasts a range exceeding 10,000 nautical miles and an endurance exceeding 60 days, meeting requirements for unlimited navigation worldwide.
The vessel is primarily used for geological, geophysical, and marine engineering environmental surveys related to the development of marine oil and gas and mineral resources. It can carry a variety of exploration equipment, including single-channel and multi-channel seismic instruments, marine drilling rigs, marine gravity and magnetometers, and perform multidisciplinary tasks ranging from seabed topographic mapping and engineering geophysical exploration to marine biological collection. It can also support platform supply, offshore oilfield protection, external firefighting, and emergency rescue.
The vessel is built by Zhejiang Tenglong Shipbuilding with a total investment of RMB 130 million and possesses the capability for worldwide unlimited navigation.
