Blueocean Wind Breaks Ground For Next-Gen Smart Aquaculture Equipment for Norwegian Partners

On December 15, 2025, Salmar and Leroy, leading global salmon farming companies, and SFS jointly witnessed the commencement of construction of high-end intelligent aquaculture equipment from Norway at Blueocean Wind’s Jieyang base.

This project is jointly advanced by Salmar and Leroy as end-users and SFS as the owner. Blueocean Wind, serving as the exclusive builder, designs and constructs the project according to DNV classification standards—the highest in the offshore industry—dedicated to creating the world’s first next-generation intelligent aquaculture equipment and pioneering new frontiers in deep-sea aquaculture.

Blueocean Wind currently operates seven major manufacturing bases in Jiangsu, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, and other regions, specializing in the intelligent design and manufacturing of marine renewable energy equipment, fishery equipment, ships and offshore engineering equipment, bridges, and large-scale steel structures. Each base specializes in distinct functions while maintaining interconnected support. Equipped with globally leading 3,800-ton super-large gantry cranes and deep-water dock facilities, the group possesses robust delivery capabilities: an annual production capacity of 300 sets of deep-sea wind turbine jackets and foundation piles, 60 sets of floating offshore wind foundations, 60 sets of marine aquaculture equipment, and 200,000 tons of structural steel for vessels and offshore engineering.
