Nantong Rainbow Offshore & Engineering Equipment (ROC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Rainbow Heavy Industries, successfully secured contract with overseas clients for multiple Anchor Handling Tug Supply (AHTS) vessels, marking another instance of the company gaining recognition from international customers in the offshore engineering vessel sector.
Classified by ABS, this AHTS vessel measures 71.95 meters in overall length, 17.20 meters in beam and has a design draft of 4.30 meters. As a high-end offshore support vessel integrating anchor handling, towing and supply functions, it is hailed as an “all-rounder at sea”.
The vessel boasts superior performance, equipped with two side thrusters, three stern thrusters, and a DP2 system, enabling precise control even in narrow waters or complex sea conditions, and ensuring safe and reliable execution of offshore operations.
The establishment of a friendly cooperative relationship with leading overseas AHTS shipowners has also injected strong momentum into ROC’s rapid development. ROC will adhere to its business philosophy of “perfect fulfillment” to ensure timely delivery of vessels to the shipowner.
Located in Qidong Marine industry park, the existing main facilities of ROC are 100000 ㎡- workshop, one indoor slipway, one outdoor slipway, 80000 ㎡- heavy equipment assembly area, and one 326 meters/ 50000 tons- heavy loading and unloading wharf (with one 250-tons gantry crane).
