Sanfu Shipbuilding Holds Naming for 12,500 DWT Heavy-Lift Vessel Destined for German Owner

On October 31, China’s Sanfu Shipbuilding held a naming ceremony for a 12,500 DWT multi-purpose heavy-lift vessel built for a German shipowner.

This series of 12,500 DWT multi-purpose heavy-lift vessels achieves industry-leading standards in environmental performance, energy efficiency and operational capabilities.

Equipped with advanced SCR denitrification systems, they significantly reduce nitrogen oxide emissions. Their energy efficiency design index meets the requirements of the new regulations’ Phase III, fully complying with the latest environmental regulations set by the International Maritime Organization.

Additionally, they are fitted with MacGregor’s latest 250-ton electric heavy-lift cranes, greatly enhancing cargo handling efficiency and operational flexibility.
