China’s Jianglong Shipbuilding announced that on October 24, it renewed its partnership with JOMALIA SHIPPING CORP. of the Philippines by signing a contract for two 32-meter/198-passenger catamaran passenger ferries, further deepening the cooperative relationship between the two parties.

The 32-meter catamaran passenger ferries contracted this time are high-performance vessels specially designed by Jianglong Shipbuilding for the Southeast Asian market. Featuring an aluminum-glass composite hull structure, the vessel measures 32 meters in overall length, 9 meters in beam, and 3.3 meters in draft, with a top speed of 26 knots. It balances practicality with fuel efficiency, making it fully suited to the geographical conditions and operational requirements of Southeast Asia.

It is understood that since 2019, Jianglong Shipbuilding has completed the construction and delivery of three passenger vessels for this Philippine client. The performance and quality of the products have been highly recognized, laying a solid foundation for this renewed collaboration.
