Taiwan’s Wisdom Marine Orders Three 40,000 DWT Bulk Carriers from Japanese shipyard Saiki

Wisdom Marine, the largest bulk carrier owner in Taiwan, has placed an order with Japanese shipyard Saiki for three 40,000 dwt bulk carriers.

Each vessel costs approximately US$32 million and is expected to be delivered between February and March 2026.

As Taiwan’s largest dry bulk carrier owner, Wisdom Marine currently operates a fleet of 146 vessels, including 15 vessels under construction. Among these, 121 are owned vessels primarily responsible for the acquisition, ownership, management, and operation of dry bulk carriers.

In related news, Wisdom Marine announced its formal exit from the Capesize bulk carrier market this August by selling its vessels.
