Recently, Watts Energy & Engineering (WE) held a grand steel cutting ceremony at its Qidong production base for the sixth set of LNG fuel tanks for Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL)’s 210,000 DWT LNG dual-fuel bulk carrier.
It is understood that the LNG fuel tanks now under construction will be supplied to CSSC Beihai Shipbuilding for MOL’s 210,000 DWT bulk carriers.
As the core equipment of the fuel system, the performance indicators of this type of liquid tank are directly related to the energy efficiency and environmental protection level of the vessel. This is also another in-depth cooperation between WE and Beihai Shipbuilding in the field of LNG liquid tank equipment.
The ongoing advancement of this series of collaborations not only demonstrates WE’s technical prowess in the R&D and manufacturing of LNG vessel auxiliary equipment, but also highlights its service capabilities in accurately identifying customer needs and delivering customized solutions.
WE stated that it will continue to leverage its professional strengths in clean energy equipment manufacturing, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the ship clean energy industry through technological innovation and lean manufacturing.
