China State Shipbuilding Corporation’s engine division CSSC Engine Co.,Ltd. (CSE) delivered an impressive third-quarter performance, laying a solid foundation for successfully concluding the 14th Five-Year Plan and achieving a strong start to the 15th Five-Year Plan.
In terms of product delivery, CSE successfully completed its third-quarter production targets. By the end of September, CSE had delivered a total of 211 engines with a combined output of 3.98 million horsepower, representing year-on-year increases of 15.9% and 14.7%, respectively.
The Qingdao headquarters successfully delivered its first 5X72DF-2.1+iCER LNG dual-fuel low-speed engine, marking the start of mass production and delivery of ultra-large-bore LNG dual-fuel low-speed engines. Dalian Marine Diesel Engine Co., Ltd (DMD) also successfully delivered its first 7G80ME-C10.5-LGIM-EGRTC methanol dual-fuel low-speed engine, completing the inspection of four engines within three days. This represents a new breakthrough in the production and delivery of green, low-carbon fuel low-speed engines.
In terms of product quality, CSE pursues a “zero-defect” goal, rigorously enforcing quality control standards. Yichang Marine Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. (YMD) and DMD engines maintain a 100% first-pass inspection pass rate, with customer satisfaction continuously improving.
