On September 11, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard named and delivered two vessels on the same day at CSSC Chengxi Yangzhou Company: the 84,500 DWT dry bulk carrier “CSPC LEO” (Vessel No. 4) built for CITIC Financial Leasing, and the 62,000 DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose vessel “Anfu” (Vessel No. 16) built for BOCOM Leasing.
The “CSPC LEO”, the fourth 84,500 DWT dry bulk carrier built by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard for CITIC Financial Leasing, is a green vessel incorporating advanced technology and innovative design. Designed with environmental protection and energy efficiency in mind, the vessel is equipped with advanced propulsion systems, desulfurization systems, and an engine SCR system. This significantly improves navigation efficiency and stability while reducing energy consumption and emissions, representing a significant achievement for CSSC Chengxi Shipyard in the field of green shipping.
The vessel is capable of transporting not only traditional cargo but also high-value-added goods such as new energy vehicles, high-speed trains, large machinery and equipment, and wind turbine components, truly achieving the goal of “one vessel for multiple uses, global reach.
The “Anfu” is the twelfth 62,000 DWT heavy-lift multi-purpose vessel built by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard for BOCOM Leasing, marking the final delivery in this series.
The vessel features a large-opening box-type cargo hold structure and is equipped with four heavy-duty cranes, making it suitable for transporting a variety of cargo types including bulk cargo, pulp, containers, wind power equipment, new energy vehicles, and large modules. It is also energy-efficient and environmentally friendly, effectively reducing fuel consumption and nitrogen oxide emissions, which fully complies with the latest shipping regulations.
Notably, the “Anfu” and “CSPC LEO” are the 18th and 19th newly built vessels delivered by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard this year.
