On July 15, Hengli Shipbuilding has signed a contract with EPS for the construction of 2+2 LNG dual-fuel Suezmax tankers. This order for 4+4 6,000 TEU container ships represents a continuation and expansion of their cooperative relationship.

The design of this type of ship takes into account both route adaptability and loading flexibility. It can efficiently adapt to the loading and unloading equipment of major ports around the world, and can meet the diversified transportation needs of transoceanic trunk lines and regional feeder lines. It is a container ship that conforms to the latest international container ship design concepts and meets the current international shipping market’s demand for large-scale and low-carbon transportation.

The signing of the construction contract for this series of ships further solidifies Hengli Shipbuilding’s competitive advantage in the global shipping market. This marks not only another significant achievement in the collaboration between Hengli Shipbuilding and EPS, but also reflects both parties’ joint commitment to advancing green shipping. Through this partnership, the two parties will jointly promote sustainable development in the shipping industry, injecting new vitality into the global shipping market.

In the future, both parties are expected to expand cooperation across more sectors, jointly explore new market opportunities, and advance the green transformation of the shipping industry. Hengli Shipbuilding will continue to leverage its strengths in ship design, construction, and technological innovation to provide the global shipping market with higher-quality, more environmentally friendly vessels and services.
