Recently, New Times Shipbuilding held naming ceremony for three units of 11,400 TEU Container Vessels with Builder’s Hull Nos.0211402, 0211403 and 0211404.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer Mr. Liu Haijin, Executive Deputy General Manager Mr. Zhang Yuyong, General Manager Assistant Mr. Xu Zhenyu, MSC NB Area Manager Mr. YB Lee，MSC site manager Mr. Chen Yukun，ABS site manager Mr. Cao Wei and other VIP guests attended this ceremony.
Godmother Ms. Liu Shuying named the vessel 0211402 for “MSC MUGE”.
Godmother Ms. An Jie named the vessel 0211403 for “MSC HORTENSE”.
Godmother Ms. Shi Xiaoyan named the vessel 0211404 for “MSC PROCIDA”.
The 11,400 TEU series of LNG dual-fuel container ships ordered by shipowner MSC are powered by a single propeller and LNG dual-fuel engines. Equipped with Type B LNG fuel tanks independently designed and manufactured by New Times Shipbuilding, the vessels boast excellent performance as well as green and low-carbon features.
This series of vessels has an overall length of 335 meters, a beam of 45.6 meters, a depth of 25 meters, a designed draft of 12.5 meters and a structural draft of 16 meters. Their container carrying capacity meets the customer’s requirements.
On September 1, New Times Shipbuilding successfully carried out the steel cutting of one 73,500 DWT Crude/Product Oil Tanker (builder’s hull no. 0307375) on September 1, 2025.
The representatives from shipyard, Dynacom Site Team and DNV classification society attended and witnessed this event.
The 75#73500 DWT crude/product oil tanker is the third vessel in the order placed by Greek shipowner Dynacom for this series. This tanker has an overall length of 224 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, a depth of 20.8 meters, a design draft of 12.2 meters, a structural draft of 14.5 meters, a cargo capacity of 85,000 cbm and a deadweight tonnage of 73,400 MT.
On September 1, New Times Shipbuilding successfully carried out the steel cutting of one 112,500 DWT LNG Dual Fuel Product/Crude Oil Tanker (builder’s hull no. 0311553) on September 1, 2025. The representatives from shipyard, Captial Site Team and LR classification society attended and witnessed this event.
The 53#112500 DWT LNG dual-fuel tanker is the second vessel in the Capital series order for the Greek shipowner. This tanker has an overall length of 249.9 meters, a beam of 44 meters, a depth of 21.5 meters, a design draft of 13.6 meters, a structural draft of 15.2 meters, a cargo capacity of 130,500 cbm and a deadweight tonnage of 112,500 MT.
