On June 18, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (“CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding”) successfully kicked off the construction of a 115,000 DWT product tanker for Singapore’s Vitol International Shipping.

It is understood that the vessel has a total length of 249.80 meters, a beam of 44.00 meters, a depth of 21.2 meters, a designed draft of 13.75 meters, a deadweight of 114,800 tons, and a cargo hold that can carry more than 800,000 barrels of crude oil products.

The main engine and generator both meet the International Maritime Organization’s Tier Ⅲ emission standards. The control performance, economic performance, energy-saving and green environmental protection performance are all better than similar vessels with strong market competitiveness.

On March 20, CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding started construction of the first 115,000 DWT product tanker in the series for Vitol International Shipping.
