SUMEC Marine Cements Crown Series Success with Dual Milestones: Contract Renewal & Eco-Friendly Delivery

Recently, SUMEC Marine successfully renewed the new shipbuilding contract for two Crown 63 3.0 version bulk carriers with the Japanese shipowner Kasuga Shipping. The Crown 63 3.0 version bulk carrier “DUBAI NATURE” built for the UAE shipowner was successfully named and delivered.

This signing is the first time that Kasuga Shipping and SUMEC Marine have joined hands again after a year, further expanding the market influence of the company’s “Crown” brand and injecting vitality into the current new shipbuilding market. SUMEC Marine will continue to focus on green and intelligent development trends, iteratively upgrade products, reduce the operating costs of vseels throughout their life cycle for customers, and help customers enhance their competitiveness in the global shipping carbon reduction track.

“DUBAI NATURE” is the second of the six vessels ordered by the shipping company for the shipowner. It meets the EEDI 3 energy efficiency standards and Tier III environmental protection requirements. The cargo hold structure has been specially reinforced while maintaining excellent fuel economy, which will reduce operating costs for ship owners.

The newly signed and delivered Crown 63 3.0 version bulk carrier is the flagship product of SUMEC Marine.
