On April 24th, Southeast Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Fujian Shipbuilding, successfully delivered the 1800TEU container ship (MW463-3) .
Classed by DNV, MSC SUJIN has an overall length of 172 meters, a beam of 28.40 meters, a depth of 16.00 meters and a design draft of 8.50 meters. The container ship operates in unrestricted global waters and is suitable for the transportation of dry containers, cold containers and certain dangerous goods containers.
Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) is the first shipping company in the world in terms of container ship transportation capacity. At present, Fujian Shipbuilding has undertaken 12 ships of 3700TEU container ships and 1800TEU container ships from MSC, of which two 3700TEU container ships and three 1800TEU container ships have been successfully delivered.
It is worth mentioning that since April, Fujian Shipbuilding has successively completed the delivery of 1800 TEU container ship and the delivery of 2900 TEU container ship, the launching of 7500 ceu dual-fuel PCTC and the the launching of new energy cruise ship “Min Du” and the completion of repair and other important projects.
