On January 10th, the 79M Platform Supply Vessel(PSV) (GS13169) Renewal Project undertaken by Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding CO., Ltd, a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Group, was successfully launched.
It is understood that the renewal project is a 6500HP PSV which has not been completed yet. The PSV’s pre-segmentation and drawing status were unclear, the production technology preparation cycle was short and the construction of the long shaft system was difficult.
Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding independently organized the whole process of long shaft system installation for the first time, and successfully completed the shaft system pulling and installation.
