On January 10th, China Merchants Jingling Shipyard (Weihai) Co. Ltd. (CMJL (Weihai)) launched the second offshore platform built for CTW (Tianjin) Offshore Engineering Co., Ltd(CTW).
The platform has an overall length of approximately 96.8 meters, pile legs length of 97 meters, a hull length of around 74.4 meters, a breadth of 40 meters, a depth of 6.1 meters and a design draft of 3.0 meters. It is a multi-purpose service platform with a capacity of 250 crew members, an operating depth of 4 meters to 65 meters and a design operating temperature of 10 to 45 degrees Celsius.
Upon delivery, the platform will be used mainly for operations between oil and gas fields in Saudi Arabian waters.
