COSCO SHIPPING (Qidong) Offshore commenced the putting up of N1151 P-82 FPSO topside module

On December 18, COSCO SHIPPING (Qidong) Offshore held a ceremony for putting up the upper module of N1151 P-82 FPSO.

With an overall length of 360 meters in main dimensions, a beam of 60 meters, a depth of 34.3 meters and a gross hull weight of more than 80,000 tons of steel structure, the P-82 FPSO is the largest size FPSO project to date.

The P-82 FPSO is designed to store 1.6 million barrels of oil, with a capacity of up to 225,000 barrels of oil per day as well as 12 million cubic meters of natural gas. The FPSO will be connected to 16 wells (nine oil producing and seven reinjection wells), equipped with CO2 capture and geological storage technology with dispersion moorings.

It is reported that the upper module of the project commenced on June 20 this year. At present, the upper module piggybacking is also proceeding as planned, and the various works of the project have entered an accelerated stage.
