Yangzi Mitsui Shipbuilding Delivers One Self-Unloading Bulk Carrier

On April 5, the 80,000 DWT self-unloading bulk carrier “ALGOMA CELEBRATION,” built by Yangzi Mitsui Shipbuilding for a Canadian shipowner, departed the shipyard’s berth to embark on its maiden voyage.

The “ALGOMA CELEBRATION” was steel cutting took place on February 13, 2025, and completed sea trials on March 1, 2026, with all test results exceeding the design specifications. The delivery documents were signed on March 31, 2026.

The vessel is the third vessel delivered in this series. It has an overall length of 229.00 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 20.15 meters, and a designed draft of 14.40 meters. The vessel is classed by ABS.
