Recently, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) Guangxi Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering’s (“CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding”) ship repair division delivered one vessel and secured a new ship repair order.

On March 19, through the dedicated efforts of the project team of CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding Ship Repair Project, all repair work on the “YC Fortitude” was successfully completed, and the vessel was smoothly released from the yard. The repair work primarily included rust removal and painting of the inner and outer hull plates, propeller removal, extraction and replacement of the stern shaft and stern shaft seal, and special coating of the propeller.
During the repair period, the project team overcame challenges such as tight schedules and heavy workloads, ensuring the progress of key ship repair milestones through refined management and securing the successful delivery of the vessel.
On March 23, CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding successfully undertook the repair project of the “Lizhou Jiehai” vessel, fully demonstrating the market’s continued recognition of the company’s ship repair brand and technical strength.

Currently, the vessel is docked at the company’s No. 8 pier, and the main repair projects include sandblasting and painting of the hull and cargo holds, as well as the replacement of some pipelines. CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding will continue to deepen lean management, scientifically coordinate, strengthen its sense of responsibility, and move full steam ahead with preliminary planning to devote all resources to this new round of intensive work.
