On March 5, New Dayang Shipyard, a subsidiary of Sumec Marine, successfully held a naming ceremony for the “OCEAN GRATITUDE,” the first Crown 63 3.0 bulk carrier built for Huaxia Financial Leasing.

For years, Sumec Marine has consistently strengthened its ship design brand development, gradually establishing a series of bulk carrier products ranging from 40,000 to 80,000 DWT. This effort has continuously reinforced the Crown brand’s competitiveness in the global medium-sized bulk carrier market.
The newly delivered Crown 63 bulk carrier, version 3.0, represents the company’s flagship product, meeting both EEDI Phase III and Tier III emission standards. Operated by Sumec Shipping, this vessel signifies the deepening implementation of the company’s dual-drive model integrating shipbuilding and shipping operations.

Sumec Marine stated that it will continue to focus on green ship R&D and lean construction, collaborating with global partners to jointly explore a new paradigm of high-quality development.
