Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry Delivers 42 Vessels, Secures 33 New Orders in 2025

According to the official WeChat account of Hantong Group, the company achieved a double harvest in ship delivery and order taking in 2025, and made several breakthroughs in the fields of green transformation and high-end large ship construction, demonstrating strong momentum for high-quality development.

In 2025, Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry successfully delivered 42 vessels, including 64K/82K bulk carriers and jack-up wind power platforms. Among them, 13 64K bulk carriers, 25 82K bulk carriers, and 4 jack-up wind power platforms were delivered.

Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry received orders for 33 new vessels, covering various ship types including bulk carriers, tankers, and container ships, with a diversified order structure.

During the critical period of decarbonization transformation in the shipping industry, Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry has taken the lead in achieving a revolutionary breakthrough in green technology. On September 27, 2025, the world’s first bulk carrier equipped with a carbon capture system, 82K, was officially delivered, marking a key step forward for the company in the field of ship emission reduction technology and providing strong support for the industry to achieve its “dual carbon” goals.

The company is accelerating its high-end transformation and continuously upgrading its product structure. The successful launch of its first Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) marks a substantial breakthrough for Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry in the field of large oil tanker construction; the design of its 22,000 TEU container ship has reached 100% completion, laying a solid technical foundation for the early commencement of production of this type of vessel.

While focusing on its core shipbuilding business, Jiangsu Hantong Ship Heavy Industry has achieved remarkable results in the field of marine engineering equipment, successfully shipping three booster stations and one auxiliary platform in 2025. On November 28, 2025, the auxiliary platform for the H9 booster station of the Three Gorges Dafeng 800MW wind power project, which was undertaken by the company, was successfully shipped and received; on December 17, the platform was installed at sea and connected to the grid for power generation.

Capacity upgrades empower development, while intelligent transformation accelerates efficiency. In terms of hardware upgrades, the Jiangsu WING Heavy Industry 1200T-225.6-meter large-tonnage, large-span gantry crane was successfully put into place on December 24, 2025. This equipment will work in conjunction with another gantry crane of the same specifications to serve the construction of a new 300,000-ton-class offshore dock, providing key support for the block lifting of a 22,000 TEU ultra-large container ship.
