Recently, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of CSSC, has completed the installation and commissioning and acceptance work of the 3-type CNC hydraulic presses in the Hull Joint Workshop of the Changxing Shipbuilding Base Phase II Project. This marks the first stage of the main production equipment of the segment manufacturing basic installation and commissioning successfully, the hull of the joint workshop has been equipped with the segment machining and manufacturing capacity.
Since March 28 this year, the hull joint workshop has installed the profile pretreatment line for shot blasting and painting, CNC code printing machine for printing, CNC plasma cutting machine for medium-thickness plate cutting, CNC flame cutting machine for thick plate cutting, thin plate leveling machine for leveling of cut parts, and large three-roller coiler, the hull joint workshop and the segmental welding workshop equipment started to Joint commissioning.
Since July, the installation and debugging of CNC bending machine, 3 sets of CNC plate rolling machine and 3 sets of hydraulic presses have been completed one after another. At present, the main production equipment of the hull joint workshop has basically completed the installation.
It is understood that the hull joint workshop is an important component project of the second phase of Changxing Shipbuilding Base.
Changxing Phase II Project is invested and constructed by Hudong-Zhonghua, the address is located along the south coast of Changxing Island in Shanghai, the overall construction area is 431.8 hectares, with a total investment of RMB 18 billion, which is a major project of Shanghai Municipality, and is designed by CSSC Ninth Design & Research Institute(CSSC NDRI), and constructed by the CCCC Third Navigation Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd.
With a construction area of 214.6 hectares and a planned investment of RMB 8 billion, the first phase of Changxing Phase II Project mainly includes R&D and design building, hull joint workshop, curved segment assembly and welding workshop, outfitting parts modular center, painting workshop, 1# indoor dock, 2# open-air dock, harbor pool, outfitting wharf and so on, with a planned construction area of 460,000 square meters and the formation of the production capacity of building 6 special ships per year.
