On February 6, 2026, Changhong International held a grand naming and delivery ceremony for the second 50,000 DWT oil/chemical tanker built for Greece’s Lavinia Shipping. This series consists of three vessels. Each vessel has an overall length of approximately 182.95 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, a depth of 19.10 meters, and is classed by Lloyd’s Register.

On the same day, representatives from Lavinia Company, Alison Management Company’s on-site supervision team, LR Classification Society, the shipowner’s financing bank, and the shipyard attended the online delivery ceremony. Mr. Nikolaos Konstantinidis, the shipbuilding director of Lavinia Company, and Mr. Dai Jiming, the president of Changhong International, jointly signed the delivery documents, marking the official transfer of the “PARIAN TRADER” vessel from the builder to the shipowner.
In his address, Shen Zhihua, General Manager of Changhong International Shipbuilding, expressed gratitude to the shipowner Lavinia and all partners for their contributions. He stated that the successful delivery of this vessel marks a significant milestone in the collaboration between both parties, reflecting Changhong’s construction capabilities and professional dedication. Moving forward, the company will continue advancing projects with efficient production capacity and looks forward to deepening cooperation. He wished the new vessel smooth sailing and extended early New Year greetings to all guests, wishing them happiness and success in all endeavors.
Ms. Souzana Laskaridi, President of Lavinia, stated in her address that it was an honor to witness the delivery of the “PARIAN TRADER” and expressed gratitude to the shipyard team for their professional collaboration and dedication to craftsmanship. She noted that the vessel’s naming carries the maritime heritage of Greece’s Paros Island, embodying a commitment to safety, responsibility, and sustainable development.
Godmother Christiana Economou named the new vessel “PARIAN TRADER” and performed the mooring ceremony, wishing her a safe and smooth voyage.
