On February 2, Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding of CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering (Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding) held a delivery ceremony for the 7,700 DWT oil/chemical tanker “HERCULES ELISABETH,” built for marine fuel supplier Peninsula Petroleum.

The HERCULES ELISABETH, measuring 103.88 meters in length overall, 19 meters in beam, with a design draft of 7.2 meters and a design speed of 10 knots. Classed by Lloyd’s Register, the vessel meets unlimited navigation requirements. Powered by diesel generators throughout, it is primarily designed for transporting fuel oil, biofuels, and methanol, with emissions meeting Tier III standards.
It is understood that multiple vessels of the same series are currently under steady construction. With its exceptional coordination capabilities and stringent quality control, Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding will ensure the successful completion of subsequent projects. Upon delivery, the vessels will proceed to Europe for formal operation, providing robust support for the local marine economic development.
