On January 26, Chinese shipbuilder Huanghai Shipbuilding held the naming and delivery ceremony for the third 62,000 DWT multi-purpose heavy-lift vessel “CL PATRIOTISM”built for CHINALAND SHIPPING. This marks the third newbuild delivered by CHINALAND SHIPPING this January, following the naming and delivery of the CL EQUALITY in Taizhou, Jiangsu and the CL HARMONY in Jiangmen, Guangdong.
The “CL PATRIOTISM” vessel is designed to fully meet the transportation needs of high-end equipment: its maximum lifting capacity is 300 tons, which can flexibly and efficiently carry various oversized and overweight cargoes; it has 5 large-opening box-type cargo holds and an unobstructed deck area of over 5,000 square meters, which can accommodate extra-long wind turbine blades and engineering equipment.
In the second half of 2023, CHINALAND SHIPPING placed an order with Huanghai Shipbuilding for four multi-purpose heavy-lift vessels. The “CL PATRIOTISM” was the first vessel built and delivered by Huanghai Shipbuilding for Chinaland Shipbuilding. The successful delivery of the “CL PATRIOTISM” is a milestone in the shipbuilding cooperation between Chinaland Shipbuilding and Huanghai Shipbuilding, laying a solid foundation for further in-depth cooperation between the two parties.
