On January 16, 2026, Wison New Energies held a ceremony at its Qidong Yard in the Lusi Port Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu Province, to mark the launch of trial production and celebrate 6 million LTI-free man-hours for the infrastructure project. This milestone marks the Qidong Yard’s transition from construction to production and operations, demonstrating its readiness to execute projects for global clients and further strengthening Wison’s high-end manufacturing system and large-scale delivery capability in support of its international business expansion.

As a key component of Wison New Energies’ strategic investment footprint, the Qidong Yard is positioned for the fabrication and integration of large floating facilities and modules. The yard spans approximately 1.2 million square meters, with a 1,372-meter coastline, and is equipped with a 520M(L) x 90M(W) offshore dock. As of now, the Qidong Yard has commenced fabrication of the first batch of blocks, bringing key production lines and processes into substantive operation.
From the planning and construction stages, the Qidong Yard has been designed to enhance manufacturing efficiency and management effectiveness. Centered on intelligent and digitalized production lines, the yard has established smart manufacturing systems across critical processes such as hull construction, module fabrication, piping, and painting, forming an efficient and highly coordinated production management framework. These capabilities are expected to deliver higher productivity and lower labor intensity, providing a stable and replicable manufacturing foundation for large-scale and complex projects.

Mr. Wang Wei, Executive DGM of Qidong Yard, noted that the launch of trial production represents a pivotal step in Wison’s manufacturing footprint, further enhancing our capabilities in green, scaled, and smart manufacturing, and supporting the continued business expansion. Looking ahead, the Qidong Yard will accelerate capacity ramp-up while continuously improving operational efficiency and quality consistency.
With the Qidong Yard entering trial production, Wison New Energies will further optimize its manufacturing layout and enhance its large-scale delivery capability and full lifecycle support for high-end equipment. The company remains committed to providing global clients with reliable and efficient EPCIC solutions, supporting the transition toward a lower-carbon and more diversified energy mix.
