Recently, Royal Caribbean Group, a leading U.S. cruise operator, held a groundbreaking ceremony with Port of Miami, the Florida port authority, marking the official commencement of construction on Port of Miami’s G Cruise Terminal. The terminal will be exclusively dedicated to Royal Caribbean Group while also featuring multi-vessel berthing capabilities.

The Port of Miami’s Cruise Terminal G project, with a total investment of $345 million, is jointly funded by Miami-Dade County and Royal Caribbean Group. It is scheduled for completion by the end of 2027.
The terminal project, led by the Lemartec-NV2A consortium in collaboration with Perez and Perez Architects, will be implemented under a design-build-delivery model to create a modern cruise terminal capable of accommodating 7,000 passengers.
Royal Caribbean International stated that the new terminal will be equipped with multi-level parking, multimodal transport facilities, and other key infrastructure to support the berthing of large cruise ships. The new terminal features a single-berth design and will achieve efficient passenger boarding and departure processes by integrating cruise terminal construction technology, energy efficiency improvement solutions and a unique user experience.
