GTT announces that it has received, in the third quarter of 2026, an order from Jiangnan shipyard for the tank design of four new Liquefied Natural Gas Carriers on behalf of ADNOC Logistics and Services, the ship-owner.
GTT will design the cryogenic tanks of the vessels, each offering a total capacity of 175,000 m³. The tanks will be fitted with the Mark III Flex membrane containment system, developed by GTT.
The vessels are scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2029.
In July of this year, ADNOC L&S announced that it had signed an order for four 175,000 m³ LNG carriers during a visit by Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber—UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC—to CSSC Jiangnan Shipyard.
Additionally, on August 25, ADNOC L&S exercised an option with Jiangnan Shipyard to confirm an order for two 175,000 m³ LNG carriers. Scheduled for delivery in 2029, these new vessels are expected to be deployed for long-term charter operations.
