On January 8,New Yangzi Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group, delivered the third 75,000 DWT LR1 tanker “JARAMA” to owner Evalend. The vessel set off from the shipyard’s berth and commenced operations.
This vessel is the third in a series of ten 75,000 DWT LR1 tankers being built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for Evalend. Construction commenced in late October 2024, and sea trials were successfully completed in early December 2025, with all test results meeting design specifications. The vessel is classed by Lloyd’s Register (LR).
On January 7, witnessed by representatives from both parties, Mr. Vasileios Raios, representing Evalend Shipowners, and Mr. Du Chengzhong, Deputy General Manager of our Group and General Manager of New Yangzi Shipbuilding, signed the delivery documents for the “JARAMA” on behalf of their respective organizations.
