Recently, Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CCCC Fourth Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd., successfully won the bid for the semi-submersible aquaculture platform project (Phase I) under the Honghai Bay Marine Ranch Aquaculture Net Pen Construction Project of Huizhou Agricultural Investment Group.
This project involves the construction of one large truss-type aquaculture platform. The platform measures 82 meters in length, 32 meters in width, and 22 meters in height, capable of enclosing approximately 36,000 cubic meters of aquaculture water volume. The project adopts a semi-submersible structure design typical of offshore platforms, equipped with a four-corner anchor positioning system, and is classified by the China Classification Society.
The aquaculture platform is equipped with automated feeding equipment, mechanized catching equipment, fish farming and environmental monitoring equipment, supporting life support and sanitary facilities, aquaculture waste collection devices, and a safety warning and power guarantee system, which can realize intelligent deep-sea aquaculture and effectively improve aquaculture efficiency and product quality.
The successful bid for this project represents a significant step by Jiangmen Hangtong Shipbuilding in actively responding to the national strategies of building a “maritime power” and a “manufacturing power.” Moving forward, the company will firmly adhere to the development principle of prioritizing manufacturing, seize opportunities in modern marine pasture and offshore platform construction, and continue to deepen its engagement in the marine economy industry market.
