On June 27, Evergreen Marine completed the signing and delivery ceremony’s of the 9th 3000TEU vessel “EVER VERVE” (H2466). The vessel was built by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and was delivered nearly 6 months ahead of the contractual delivery date.
Classified by ABS, the vessel has a total length of 172.0 meters, a beam of 32.20 meters, a design draft of 9.0 meters, a deadweight of 27,900 tons, a design speed of 19.5 knots and a range of 11,000 nautical miles.
The vessel is equipped with desulfurization equipment, a complete low-sulfur fuel supply system, an AMP shore power winch system, and a series of energy-saving and environmentally friendly technologies such as the latest drag-reducing and anti-fouling paint. It has obtained the CS-SYSTEM classification society cybersecurity notation and is a representative work of creating safe container shipping services for customers.
It is understood that Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding has become one of Evergreen Marine’s preferred shipyards in the field of feeder container ships. As early as 2021, Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding and Evergreen Marine signed an order for 24 container ships of three types. The shipbuilding contract set a record at the time as the largest civilian product operation order in the history of Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding and the largest single feeder container ship order in the history of China Shipbuilding Group.
