Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and CPGC Sign Agreement to Jointly Establish Ship Power Equipment Innovation Center

On June 16, Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and CSSC Power (Group) Corporation Ltd. (CPGC) signed an agreement to jointly establish the “Innovation Center for Advanced Design and Manufacturing Technology of Ship Power Equipment.”

The signing of this agreement is a powerful measure to further implement the “Strategic Cooperation Agreement” between CSSC and Jiangsu University of Science and Technology and to jointly build the “Innovation Center for Advanced Design and Manufacturing Technology of Ship Power Equipment” between CSSC and Jiangsu University of Science and Technology.

It is reported that this joint construction will jointly implement the school-enterprise joint talent training mechanism, promote collaborative innovation between industry, academia and research, and work together to create a first-class ship power equipment advanced design and manufacturing technology innovation center with international competitiveness.

Jiangsu University of Science and Technology hopes to leverage the strengths of both parties to jointly establish innovative platforms such as the Key Laboratory of Ship Propulsion in Jiangsu Province and strengthen joint talent cultivation. In addition, the two parties will jointly carry out research and development, design, manufacturing, and testing and verification of new fuel engines, and promote the transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements in advanced manufacturing and other technologies.

CPGC stated that the company will work with Jiangsu University of Science and Technology to focus on scientific and technological research in areas such as marine power application technology, new energy technology, and advanced manufacturing technology, providing technical support for the development of marine power equipment with independent intellectual property rights in China.

At the same time, both parties will establish a regular cooperation and exchange mechanism, coordinate their respective strengths, and actively organize discussions and implement plans for scientific and technological cooperation, talent cultivation, and other areas, jointly opening a new chapter in the high-quality development of the marine power equipment industry.
