On June 10, Qinshi Group, Ruichang Municipal Government and Jiangsu Xinyang Ship Marine Development held a signing ceremony for the New Energy Shipbuilding Project. All the newbuildings will be constructed by Jiangxi New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry, and the total investment of this Project is as high as RMB 1 billion (about US$140 million).
After the completion of the new energy shipbuilding project, 24 special ships and new energy ships can be put into production each year, creating economies of scale with an annual output value of approximately RMB 500 million and annual tax revenue of approximately RMB 50 million.
The project marks that Jiangxi New Jiangzhou Shipbuilding Heavy Industry has taken a solid step on the road of industrial upgrading, and will surely inject a strong impetus for Ruichang city to extend and grow the equipment manufacturing industry chain. The shipbuilder said that it will continue to improve the technical level and construction capacity, and fully invest in the production and manufacture of new energy ships.
