40-meter-class catamaran wind power CTV was successfully delivered

April 25, Huahai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province, held a ceremony for the delivery of a catamaran high-performance wind power crew transfer vessel (CTV) “Haifeng 5201” of Haifeng 5000 series, which was invested by CCCC Haifeng Wind Power Development.

The “Haifeng 5201” is the latest generation of offshore wind power CTV developed by CCCC Haifeng Wind Power Development. Classed by CCS, the CTV is of steel-aluminum catamaran structure with an overall length of 40 meters, a beam of 10.8 meters and a depth of 5.2 meters.

It has a range of 1000 nautical miles, a rated capacity of 12 passengers, a trial speed of about 18 knots with good rapidity and strong wave resistance, all performance indexes are at the domestic advanced level.

“Haifeng 5201” adopts high dry-docking design concept to minimize wave impact and combines with high-power main propulsion system configuration, which can ensure the sailing rate. And it can meet the requirements of safe operation in Class IV sea state and safe navigation in Class V sea state.

The offshore wind power CTV is equipped with a folding crane, special top rubber fender, reserved for boarding wave compensation trestle and other key equipment, and has developed an application safety operation and maintenance evaluation and decision system.

At the same time, it possesses the emergency guarantee function of transferring diesel fuel and fresh water from the marine electric pump to the offshore booster station, which can be applied to the operation and maintenance service of deep-sea offshore wind power transportation express line.

After delivered, “Haifeng 5201” will be listed in CCCC Haifeng Wind Power Development, which will further enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise’s equipment.
