On 15 October 2026, the steel cutting ceremony for the E-House module of the Sepat FPSO project was held at the Weihua Marine’s Qidong base, marking that the E-House module has officially entered the construction phase.
The E-House is an important part of the FPSO topside module, undertaking core functions such as electrical control and power distribution. This steel cutting marks the E-House’s entry into the construction execution stage and represents an important project milestone following the strategic cooperation agreement signed between OceanSTAR Elite and Weihua in September this year.
The first steel cutting of the E-House module further demonstrates the synergistic advantages of both parties in engineering design, project management, and equipment fabrication.
