Recently, Chinese shipbuilder New Times Shipbuilding held a signing and delivery ceremony for a 155,500-dwt LNG dual-fuel oil tanker, officially handing the vessel over to the shipowner for operation. This marks the fourth vessel delivered by New Times Shipbuilding in September.

The 155,500-dwt LNG dual-fuel tanker delivered this time is the fifth vessel in the series of 155,500-dwt dual-fuel tankers ordered by Greece’s Capital Group.
This series of vessels features an overall length of 274.3 meters, a molded breadth of 48 meters, a molded depth of 23.2 meters, a design draft of 16 meters, and a structural draft of 17.15 meters, with a cargo hold capacity (including slop and residue tanks) of 172,000 cubic meters. Powered by LNG dual-fuel engines, the vessels are characterized by environmental friendliness, energy efficiency, and high performance.
