Dalian Shipbuilding Industry ChangxingDao Shipyard and CHINALAND SHIPPING Sign Long-Term Ship Repair Cooperation Agreement

On July 10, Zhang Libing, Chairman of Dalian Shipbuilding Industry ChangxingDao Shipyard, and Yan Haiguo, Party Secretary and General Manager, led a delegation to visit CHINALAND SHIPPING. The two sides held in-depth negotiations and successfully signed a long-term ship repair cooperation agreement.

Under the agreement, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry ChangxingDao Shipyard will serve as a key northern ship maintenance and operation support base for CHINALAND SHIPPING, comprehensively undertaking various services for the company’s owned and chartered fleets, including routine maintenance, ship upgrades and retrofits, and special-purpose vessel conversions. Leveraging its comprehensive dry docks and slipways, large-scale lifting equipment, and well-established construction support systems, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry ChangxingDao Shipyard provides stable and efficient end-to-end operation and maintenance support for vessels traveling along northern shipping routes.

During the roundtable discussion, the two sides engaged in in-depth exchanges regarding CHINALAND SHIPPING’s newbuilding plans for semi-submersible vessels and heavy-lift vessels. They explored expanding shipbuilding operations by leveraging Dalian Shipbuilding Industry ChangxingDao Shipyard’s facilities and production capacity, and extending and enhancing integrated repair and construction services across the entire value chain.
