On November 28, the signing ceremony for two new vessels of Shenzhen COSCO Longpeng Liquefied Gas Transportation Co., Ltd. (Longpeng Company) was held at COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Dalian).
The two newbuilding vessels, respectively, are 9,000 cbm ethylene multipurpose carrier and 6,300 cbm LPG/liquid ammonia carrier. They are expected to be delivered in the second half of 2025 and the first half of 2026. After delivery, they will be mainly used for transportation of LPG, ethylene and liquid ammonia chemical gases along the domestic coast.
