Recently, Jianglong Shipbuilding announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Jianglong Shipbuilding International Co., Ltd. has separately secured construction orders for one SSG65 multi-purpose anchor handling tug supply vessel (AHTS) each from Singapore’s PHOENIX ONE and PHOENIX TWO.

The announcement disclosed that the total contract amount is US$27.14 million (approximately RMB185.2034 million), with the first vessel to be delivered no later than September 30, 2027, and the second vessel to be delivered no later than November 30, 2027.

The SSG65 multi-purpose workboat signed this time is a high-end offshore support equipment built to international first-class standards. It integrates multiple functions such as anchoring, towing, material supply, external fire fighting, and dynamic positioning. Classed by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), it meets the requirements for operations in unlimited global navigation areas.
The vessel is 65.3 meters long, 16.8 meters wide, has a speed of 12.5 knots, a deadweight of approximately 1,850 tons, and is equipped with a DP-2 class dynamic positioning and full-rotation drive system. The bollard pull force reaches 65 tons, and the cargo deck load capacity is 7.5 tons/square meter. Its overall performance, intelligence level, and safety are all at an internationally advanced level, and it can widely serve high-end marine engineering scenarios such as offshore platform operation and maintenance, ocean towing, and engineering support.

Jianglong Shipbuilding stated that the signing of this contract injects strong momentum into the company’s expansion into high-end overseas markets and its service to the global marine engineering industry. It is expected to have a positive impact on the company’s future operating performance.
