Dashenzhou Shipbuilding Secures Order for Three 10,000 m³ Semi-Refrigerated LNG/Ammonia Carriers from Petrobras Transport

On April 15, 2026, Dashenzhou Shipbuilding and Petrobras Transporte S.A. held a grand signing ceremony for a newbuilding contract for “three 10,000 m³ semi-refrigerated LNG/ammonia carriers.”

Zhoushan Dashenzhou Shipbuilding and Jiangnan Heavy Industry have signed a strategic cooperation agreement so that they can carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as vessel type optimization and construction technology improvement and jointly promote China’s gas carriers to a higher level.

The three 10,000 m³ semi-refrigerated liquefied gas/ammonia carriers contracted in this agreement are high-end, technology-intensive, and environmentally friendly vessels capable of transporting both liquefied gas and liquid ammonia simultaneously, demonstrating exceptional market adaptability and forward-thinking design.
