Largest Bulk Carrier Under Construction at Wenling Shipyard Launched

Recently, the 82,000-ton bulk carrier “Deli 66” was successfully launched at Zhejiang Zhenxing Shipbuilding for owner Zhejiang Shunfengyang Shipping.

This vessel marks the largest deadweight bulk carrier ever constructed by a shipyard in Wenling. With a total investment of RMB 242 million, the ship is designed for international trade as an unrestricted ocean-going vessel, suitable for transporting bulk cargoes such as coal, iron ore, and grain.

The vessel has an overall length of 229 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 20.35 meters, a design draft of 12.2 meters, and a structural draft of 14.5 meters. It has a design speed of 14.20 knots and 82,000 DWT. Designed by Shanghai Chaoshun Ship Design, it is equipped with a 6UEC50S+H-Eco-C2 main engine and is classed by the CCS.
