On January 14, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding successfully delivered the 114,000 DWT Aframax product tanker “P. MARSEILLE” to Greece’s Performance Shipping. The naming and delivery of the “P. MARSEILLE” signifies the complete success of the collaboration between the two parties, laying a solid foundation for their continued partnership in the future.
Chen Gang, Chairman of Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, stated that the successful delivery of the “P. MARSEILLE” marks the successful completion of the series project to build three Aframax tankers for Performance. This is also the third vessel delivered by Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding since 2026.
Chen Gang pointed out that the vessel incorporates the construction experience of a series of vessels, and has achieved further optimization in terms of process details, energy efficiency and overall reliability, fully demonstrating the company’s technical strength and reliable delivery capabilities in the field of tanker construction.
