In his address, Zhang Wei, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, stated that the GRIMALDI Group is a long-term partner highly valued by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding. Both parties have continuously deepened collaboration and enhanced efficiency in the construction of this series of vessels.
Building upon the technological strengths of the first three vessels in the series, the “GRANDE ISTANBUL” has achieved further reductions in both docking cycles and overall construction timelines through optimized building processes, significantly enhancing owner satisfaction.
He emphasized that this delivery marks the beginning of a new phase in their partnership. Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding will continue to adhere to innovation-driven development and quality-oriented principles, providing GRIMALDI Group with more high-quality, highly reliable vessels while jointly advancing deeper cooperation in areas such as medium-to-large PCTCs.
