On November 30, Changhong International successfully completed the launching milestone for the third 115,000 DWT oil tanker built for Greek shipowner NAVIOS.

This series of vessels represents a new generation of LR2/Aframax deep-well pump tankers developed in accordance with the latest regulatory standards. Each vessel measures approximately 249.9 meters in overall length, 44 meters in beam, and 21.5 meters in depth.

Classed by ABS, the vessel can utilize conventional fuel oil alongside clean energy alternatives such as methanol and LNG. Additionally, the provision for medium-voltage shore power facilitates future integration into shore power systems, significantly reducing carbon and sulfur emissions from auxiliary generators during port stays. As the most effective environmental solution, HVSC is increasingly adopted by shipowners.
