Donghong Shipbuilding has successfully installed a new 700-ton gantry crane on November 10, following the commissioning of two 600-ton, two 500-ton and one 700-ton gantry crane.
It is understood that the gantry crane has a total height of 72 meters, a span of 60 meters, and a dead weight of 1,100 tons. Donghong Shipbuilding stated that it will continue to optimize and upgrade equipment such as gantry cranes to further enhance the company’s hardware capabilities.
Donghong Shipbuilding’s annual shipbuilding capacity has exceeded 600,000 DWT. Currently, the company boasts a total of 8 shipways, including two 150,000-ton slipways, one 120,000-ton slipway, one 100,000-ton slipway, one 60,000-ton slipway, one 30,000-ton slipway, and two 20,000-ton slipways.
It also owns 7 gantry cranes: 2 of 700-ton capacity, 2 of 600-ton capacity, 2 of 500-ton capacity, and 1 of 350-ton capacity. Additionally, there are 3 outfitting piers, consisting of 1 of 100,000-ton class and 2 of 50,000-ton class.
