On November 7, 2023, the closing ceremony for 2# 7000 TEU Container Vessel with Builder’s Hull No.0207002 was held at the meeting room on 8th floor of New Times Office Building.
It is known that New Times Shipbuilding has delivered 11 dual-fuel bulk carriers of 210,000 tons, 2 oil tankers of 115,000 tons, 4 bulk carriers of 120,000 tons, 6 chemical tankers of 50,000 tons of Class II, 3 container ships of 7,000 TEUs and 1 container ship of 13,000 TEUs this year. The successful delivery of the 2#7,000 TEU container vessels marks the full completion of the annual delivery target of 27 vessels of 3,711,500 DWT in 2023.
It is worth mentioning that currently, New Era Shipbuilding has received 39 new orders and 97 hand-held orders for 12.73 million deadweight tons, of which 49 are dual-fuel vessels with a total of 7.455 million deadweight tons. The production schedule is up to 2027 to meet the demand of the three-year rolling plan, and the hottest green and low-carbon ship type, dual-fuel-powered ships, has become the fist product of New Times Shipbuilding currently and for a period of time in the future.
