On September 19, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding held a keel laying ceremony at the Manufacturing Department II of its Western Shipyard to officially initiate the construction of the final vessel (Hull No. H1796A) for Phase I of the QatarEnergy project.
Since the start of its cooperation with QatarEnergy, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding has attached great importance to this project. It has been committed to building high-quality ships with high standards and strict requirements, actively leveraging lean tools to promote the practical application of new processes and construction methods in real ships, and repeatedly setting new highs in the completeness rate of ships when launched.
Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding stated that it will continuously pursue excellence, leveraging lean management to shorten dry dock and berth cycles, thereby doubling its LNG production capacity through enhanced efficiency.
