On August 1, Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Ship Industry Co., Ltd. (Jinglu Shipyard) officially delivered the second MR chemical tanker, WECO SENNA, built for Hartree Partners. The vessel was delivered 183 days ahead of schedule.
At the ceremony, Wang Hong, Party Secretary and General Manager of Jinglu Shipyard, and Panteleimon Sofiadis, Plant Manager of Hartree Partners, jointly signed the ship delivery documents, marking another achievement in their cooperation.
The vessel features a double-bottom, double-hull structure and is equipped with 20 cargo oil tanks, each fitted with an independent electric cargo oil pump, enabling the simultaneous loading of multiple different cargoes. The cargo holds are coated with MarineLine784, allowing the vessel to carry highly corrosive cargoes such as hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid.
The vessel is equipped with green and environmentally friendly technologies such as selective catalytic reduction (SCR) systems, desulfurization towers, and shaft generators, which significantly reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, and carbon dioxide. This integration of high efficiency, energy conservation, and environmental performance demonstrates the innovative advantages of this type of vessel in terms of technical configuration and practical application.
