Ningxing Shipbuilding Expands with New Beilun Base, Launches Smart Integration Center

On July 28, the unveiling ceremony of Ningbo Haizhou Ningxing Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. and Ningxing Shipbuilding’s Beilun Huanhai Manufacturing Base was held in Beilun District, Ningbo City.

The establishment of Ningxing Shipbuilding’s Beilun Huanhai Manufacturing Base is an important capacity expansion in Ningxing Shipbuilding’s development journey. It marks that Ningxing Shipbuilding has officially entered a new development stage of “three bases and one center”. It also marks the successful replication and expansion of Ningxing’s unique shipbuilding model, and lays a solid foundation for future high-quality development.

As an important part of Ningxing Shipbuilding’s development strategy, the “three bases and one center” strategic layout aims to further consolidate and enhance the company’s competitiveness in the global shipbuilding market by optimizing resource allocation, improving production efficiency and enhancing product quality.

Public information shows that Ningbo Haizhou Ningxing Shipbuilding was established on June 9, 2025 with a registered capital of RMB 9.5 million. Its business scope includes ship manufacturing, conversion and repair. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhoushan Ningshing Ship Building & Repairing Co., Ltd.

On the afternoon of the same day, the Ningxing Shipbuilding Intelligent Integration Center’s commissioning ceremony was held in Daishan County, Zhoushan City. The completion and commissioning of the intelligent integration center marks a significant milestone in Ningxing Shipbuilding’s development, marking the company’s comprehensive transition toward modern production models and digitalized operations and management.

The Intelligent Integration Center of Ningxing Ship is equipped with a fully automatic inkjet coding system, a high-precision laser cutting platform, an automatic groove workstation, and intelligent welding robots. It features a high level of integration, informatization, and intelligence, enabling digital collaboration throughout the entire process of design, manufacturing, and management, and promoting the transformation of shipbuilding from “experience-driven” to “data-driven”.

According to official data, Ningxing Shipbuilding previously had two shipbuilding bases, covering a total area of 377,000 square meters, 360 meters of coastline, 8 slipways and 3 outfitting docks. It mainly engaged in the construction of special ships such as oil/chemical liquid cargo ships, ultra-low temperature refrigerated ships, dredgers and tugboats.
