On July 9, CSSC Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group (“WS”) successfully launched the third 18,500 DWT product oil/chemical tanker built for Greece’s Athenian Sea Carriers. On the same day, Athenian Sea Carriers’s No. 9 ship in the same series was successfully launched at Wuchang Shipyard. On the same day, the shipowner’s ninth vessel in the same series was successfully cut steel at the shipyard.

It is understood that this series of ships is designed by Shanghai Odely Marine Engineering with a total length of 149.8 meters, a beam of 22.8 meters, a cruising range of 10,000 nautical miles and a speed of 13 knots. The vessel is classified by Classification Society LR and is a Class II & Class III product oil and chemical tanker in unlimited navigation area, mainly used for product oil and chemical transportation.
